ASUS' Eee Keyboard with touch screen

During CES 2009 ASUS presented a prototype for their Eee Keyboard, a complete computer – including a 5” touch-screen display – housed inside a keyboard running Windows XP. At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Asus showed off its latest addition to the EEE family, the EEE Keyboard. The computer packs the usual Intel Atom internals, and puts them in a thin metal case with a built-in keyboard with Apple-style individually inset keys, much like many home computers from the days Back To The Future was cool. It has a small built-in touchscreen display, which can display the Windows desktop or a set of media controls.Asus plans to start shipping the Eee Keyboard in September 2009.

Microsoft SideWinder X8 mouse - coming soon

Apparently fearing it would get lost among all its other product announcements yesterday, Microsoft waited until today to get official with its new SideWinder X8 mouse, which boasts the same BlueTrack technology as the company's new Explorer mice but in a more gamer-friendly package. Those touches include a play and charge system to let you keep playing while your battery recharges, switchable DPI settings, interchangeable feet to suit your "glide preference," seven programmable buttons, and a dedicated macro record button, to name a few.

Happily, they're (probably) not exaggerating the battery life, touting 30 hours of "active gaming" on a single charge. While the G7 gives you two hot-swap batteries in case you run out mid-genocide, the X8 has a play-and-charge cable that you unwrap from the small hockey puck. You've also got the usual gaming mouse standards—on-the-fly DPI switching, macro recording, and a total of seven buttons, plus the scroll wheel now tilts left and right.

Ergonomically, this looks better than the previous two SideWinder mice. The sharp "bump" at the top has been smoothed out and should be more comfortable, and it's less angular overall. Most importantly, they're halfway to admitting defeat on the thumb buttons. Though still vertically aligned (damn it), the uncomfortable, hard-to-hit circles have been replaced by sloping rectangles that make them easier to distinguish and press instinctively. While I love that they're doing things differently, I think they just need to concede that horizontal thumb buttons are the standard for a reason—it's better.

Unfortunately, you're going to have to wait even longer to get your hands on this one, with it only set to be released in February, 2009 (for $100).

Computer memory guild

Random access memory usually known by its acronym, RAM is a type of computer data storage. Today it takes the form of integrated circuits that allow the stored data to be accessed in any order. The word random thus refers to the fact that any piece of data can be returned in a constant time, regardless of its physical location and whether or not it is related to the previous piece of data.

On average, doubling the amount of memory in your system will give you ample "space" to work and make an obvious difference in overall speed, especially with today's memory-hungry applications, such as office programs and graphics-intensive games. You'll be able to run more programs at once, and your system will be less likely to lock up or behave strangely. You'll also find it easier and faster than ever to edit graphics and sound. The bottom line is that adding memory makes your computer more efficient and allows you to do more things at once.

Memory (RAM) and its influence on performance. Why More is Better? How Much Memory Do I Need? How much memory do I have? how to upgrade the memory? It may seem confusing when you're trying to figure out what RAM works in which computer. If you are looking to upgrade the memory in your computer, you are probably wondering how many open slots you have, what type of memory is already installed, and what you need to buy for the 2gb Memory Upgrade to 4GB Memory or maybe you want PC3200 DDR400 SDRAM Upgrade....For the answer to that questions is Memory Deal. Memory Deal is the best place on online to get exact RAM for your computer memory upgrade.

Memory Deal offers a genuine factory original modules at great values and the best price with the largest selection of RAM for computer memory. Loving Couple LCD Monitor..

TAIWAN-BASED TPV Technology, a newcomer to the local LCD monitor market, is banking on its four AOC branded models to catch up with the more established players.

The largest screen model is the 22in 210V (RM899) which has a native 1,680 x 1,050-pixel resolution and is capable of displaying up to 16.7million colours. The company said the screen is big enough to view two A4-sized windows side by side.

Next is the 19in Romeo & Juliet, which probably catches more attention not just due to its unique name but also its interesting design — it has a piano black finish with high-gloss bezels, streamlined photo-frame outline and hidden keys for more elegance.

Cool looks aside, this model comes with a 1,440 x 900-pixel resolution and 3,000:1 contrast ratio. Both come with the company's analogue Dynamic Colour Boost technology, which offers additional natural colour adjustments to enrich pictures quality.

Additional the base of the 96sw doubles as a stationery tray. All the AOC monitor come with a 5 millisecond (MS) response time.

GREAT DAY FOR THE WASHING - CD

ARE your CDs scratched? What may at first appear to be an unusable CD due to scratches may be salvageable. While compact discs (CDs) are remarkably durable, it’s nearly impossible to prevent scratches and scuffs from occurring from time to time. The resulting damage can be either a skip in your favorite songs track or, in the case of data CDs, the loss of that proposal you worked on for two weeks. Dont panic....!!!

Try to Placing a CD under the tap and washing the data side gently with soap can remove smudges but cause a disc to become unreadable. Be sure to thoroughly rinse the soap off afterward, and dry the CD thoroughly before putting it back into a player.

Or If there is stubborn dirt or grease on the disc you'will try to run warm water over the damaged disc to remove dust, gently rub it with your finger while you are washing it, and use a gentle detergent or liquid soap (with the water) or rubbing alcohol (in place of water). Any time you rub or wipe a CD, you should do so by starting at or near the center of the disc and rubbing straight outward toward the edge to prevent further scratching.Shake the water off and let the disc air-dry (do not dry it with a towel or cloth, and don't sun-dry it either).

Try to play the disc. Many times a good cleaning is all that is needed. If, however, problems persist after cleaning, try to play the disc in a different CD player. Some players handle scratches better than others; computer CD drives tend to be best. If you can get the CD to work in one CD player - especially your computer’s - but not in others, try burning a new disc. The CD burner on your computer may be able to read the CD well enough to produce a perfect copy. You may wish to try this even if the CD doesn’t play correctly on the computer.

The Tablet PC

Tablet pc is a great name for it because it literally is like a tablet, A Tablet PC is a slate-shaped mobile computer. Its touchscreen or digitizing tablet technology allows the user to operate the computer with a stylus or digital pen, or a fingertip, instead of a keyboard or mouse.

This is more convenient that the typical keypad or mouse of a desktop pc for when you are on the go. The functionality of a tablet pc is great when a laptop or pen and paper may not be appropriate due to being on the go, or because pen and paper does not come with the software of a tablet pc.

Tablet pc's come in two forms, slate or convertible. One is not necessarily better then the other, it is just user preference. Slate style Tablet PC's come with a stylus, or digital pen as its main way for user interface. The convertible style is much like a notebook in many ways, but a main difference from notebook is that the screen can swivel.

The difference in the convertible to the slate is that the convertible comes with a build in keyboard and the slate does not. To use as a traditional laptop, the slate tablet style requires being connected to a docking station or having an optional keyboard plugged in or connected by BlueTooth to use a keyboard.

There is a weight difference between the two. The slate style Tablet PC usually weighs around 3.5 pounds and the convertible weighs 1-2 pounds more. For most people, the slate style is what is preferred due to its lighter weight and it offers more features.

But if you find that you need a keyboard often, it is probably best to get the convertible style. There is also a less used Hybrid series. The Hybrid shares qualities of both the slate and convertible style by having a detachable keyboard.

Nearly every Tablet PC comes with built-in wireless networking. In order for a Tablet PC to send or receive data in real time you must be connected to a wireless network.

The battery life usually last from 2-6 hours depending on the model you choose. However, it is good to keep in mind that using the built-in wireless networking can use up the batter life a lot faster, but still should be good for at least 2 hours of use.

There are several advantages to using Tablet PC's to notebooks:

1) There is a natural ease to using a pen for sketching or writing notes compared to a keyboard and mouse.

2) There is no jerky mouse movement like on notebooks which can allow you to pay attention to what is important, not worrying about trying to aim the mouse perfectly.

3) Tablet PC's are very slim, and are smaller then typical laptops which makes them easier to carry and use in a flash.

Tablet PC's are gaining popularity with many professionals for their portability, ease of use, and their high functionality. Popular models include:

New Phenomena by AMD

The AMD product's is my favorite machine. Now AMD it's official release the new processor named the "Phenom" or AMD call its "true quad-core", probably in reference to the fact that all four cores are on die instead of having two dual-core processors shoehorned into a single package like those in Intel's current quad-core series.

The advantage of having four on die cores is that all the cores communicate with each other directly rather than having to go through the front side bus external to the processor, thus potentially reducing a data bottleneck.

The AMD Phenom processor, also feature integrated DDR2 memory controllers, HyperTransport technology links and 128-bit Floating Points Units (FPU).

The AMD, Phenom processor are expected to ship in the second half the year in the second half the year in both dual-core series, called the "Phenom X2" and Quadcore series call the "Phenom X4" & "Phenom FX"(High-end version).
